Flood Re and the National Flood Forum are working to identify ways that communities such as yours could be better protected from flooding. In the aftermath of the devastating floods in South Yorkshire, we wanted to hear the views and experiences of those who have been affected in order to help inform our work. What is Flood Re?

Flood Re is a not for profit joint initiative between the Government and insurers. Its aim is to make the flood cover part of household insurance policies more affordable.

What is the National Flood Forum?

The National Flood Forum exists to support individuals and communities at risk of flooding and has been doing this across the country since 2002.
