Flood risk and planning for the climate crisis

Flood Re and the Environment Agency have partnered up with the TCPA to provide training for local authorities. The success of the planning for flood risk training offer for local authorities continued throughout 2022, demonstrating both the appetite and ongoing need for CPD on this important topic area.
Due to the publication of the updated Planning Practice Guidance (PPG) in August 2022, the TCPA and Flood Re agreed to run two sessions online to increase the availability of this important resource. Over 1,100 people attended the two sessions, demonstrating significant interest and demand.
